After I bought my bx2200 used, the dealer I got it serviced at was able to look up its history, who owned it, where they lived, etc. I was wondering if individuals can do that as I'd like to ask the previous owner about his old/my new tractor? Anybody know? Art White, where are you?

The dealer I bought mine from printed out it's service history for me. Included with that information was the previous ownwers name. I dont think it was supposed to be there but the salesman could not work out how to prnt specific reports so he just had it dump all information associated with that serial number. I then looked up the previous owner on anywho.com (because I had a vague idea where he lived - some where near the dealer) and chatted with him a bit about the tractor. It was very informative. ....

The JD dealer lookup was some kind of internal info resource - it may have been web based but is not avail to the public as far as I know. ....

Sorry for not repsonding sooner but my wife takes me away every year for a vaca and says if I don't go she'll find some one else! She makes more then I do so I figure I'll tag along to keep her company. Thru the dealers access to Kubota or web portal they can access the information that you area looking for. ....

Thanks Art. I'm just now getting back online. I've been up to TN to be with my brother, who we found has got lymphoma. We're hopeful he's going to be ok. ....
